Chloe is a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor who specialises in ambiguous loss. She has worked with families of the missing, missing people, carers, victims of domestic abuse, dementia, chronic mental health issues and a number of other types of losses. For over 10 years, Chloe provided specialist telephone support at the national charity Missing People, to people experiencing an ambiguous loss when someone close to them is missing, as well as supporting young people and adults who are missing. Chloe previously worked as a Counsllor for Norfolk Family Carers, and was a Co-Founder of The Caring Space: Norfolk Carers Counselling.
By nature, Chloe is a warm, empathetic, patient, caring and grounded person. By practicing integratively, she blends elements from different counselling approaches to suit your individual needs. Working holistically, she explores your physical, emotional and spiritual being.
As a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Chloe is bound by their Code of Ethics. She has a Certificate of Proficiency from the BACP and is listed on their Accredited Register which is approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
In early 2014, Chloe was trained by a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master in London to Practitioner Level (II). A technique to activate natural healing processes to restore physical and emotional wellbeing. It relaxes and calms the mind and brings a deep sense of peace, clarity and balance. Reiki is a fully clothed practice using gentle touch, which can be given sitting up or lying down.
Combining reiki and drumming brings healing to your whole being. This therapy can help people express and address emotional issues as the sound vibrations travel through the body releasing negative memories within the cells. After drumming over your body, a reiki treatment is given to integrate the healing and bring balance. You are fully clothed throughout, and Chloe will also work with intentions to help bring into your life what you need at that time.
Chloe has public liability and professional indemnity insurance and a current enhanced DBS check.
